My V-Diet log w/pictures STARTING 12/15/09
My name is Jordan and I am a V-Dieter. There is no day but today. Throughout high school I was an overweight kid and once I started college I made the switch to a low carb lifestyle. I lost 50 lbs over that time and now I look good, but I want to look even better. I have decided that even though I keep a fairly clean diet and work hard in the gym, I need a drastic change to get cut.
The V-Diet will easily put me in a thousand calorie deficit from my previous diet/
I will be consuming 1440 cals on non training days and 1540 on training days with all carbs coming from flax seed and Surge.
My starting measurements are:
waist: 36in
chest: 40in
unflexed arm:14in
neck:15in
I will be doing a variation that Shug has mentioned though; eating one HSM per day with the alloted calories left from removing one shake. My TRAINING DAY:
shake1 with flax and 3fo
shake 2 with flax and 3f0
shake3 (.875 scoop) with flax and 3fo
shake4 with Surge
dinner
(.875 scoop) with flax and 3fo

To Those Who Have Failed
Over the past few months, at least since July 14th when I did the V-Diet, many folks here have come and gone. Many have completed the diet with great success and are happy for the new outlook on life. More have failed. The failure rate here is huge. Why? This is hard. It requires a committed effort to achieve committed goals from a serious person who studies this whole ordeal and then prepares to do battle. It can't be done on a whim. I have not been 100% faithful after my transition but I got back on track quickly.
At 51 I weigh less than I have in 10+ years, have dropped 5+ inches off my gut, 4+ off my waist and have folks wanting ME to help them with their battle too. This does work. Others here doing the VD right now will gladly help in boosting you if you are in a struggle. WE ALL STRUGGLE!!! It's why we are here. I've lurked for awhile after the official diet to see how others are doing. I still workout, still drink the shakes, still watch what I am doing and will have to a long, long time. Its not 28 days and done. Those 28 days are tough and are just the start of it all.
The program works. Read all you can. Set a date. Do the measurements, do the pictures, do the diet and the workouts and see results. If you don't do some due diligence you are apt to fail because you are not prepared. Be prepared to succeed.
Those of you still in the game, push on and keep going.
Those of you who just quit….slap yourself silly and start back. Do not accept no as an option.

My V-Diet Log
I have been a lurker for a few years now, and have decided to finally put myself out here and finally commit to the V-Diet. I recall reading about this diet when it first came out. I was around 295 lbs. and I was planning on doing it for quick results. Once I came to the realization that I was morbidly obese, I decided to wait. Well now I am around 230 lbs. and believe it is time to do it. I am starting the diet today and am going to post pics/measurements later today. I figure if I make a log I will feel a lot more committed to putting myself through this.
