I Have a Few Questions about the V-Diet

December 16th, 2008 No Comments   Posted in Diet and Nutrition

I work a 2:30pm to 10:30pm shift and might workout either before or after.

1)If i do it after work I usually go to bed around 2-3 am so does that mean i should take Surge around bed time if i workout after work?

2) do you recommend mixing the shakes with smart water, because I read it keeps you hydrated?

3) how many times can you do the V-Diet in a 6 month to 12 month period and can you do it back to back? If not what is the wait period?

4)Is it okay if I use benefiber?

5) how long should I wait before going into the beast building program on T-Nation after this diet? Can I do the V-Diet before and after the beast building program?

6) How many low carb Metabolic Drive containers do you recommend because in one place I see 10, another 11m and one says 13. I plan on doing this program with my fiance so that might be double the supplements.

Thank you for your replies to my questions in advance.

V-Diet Calculations Question

December 15th, 2008 No Comments   Posted in Diet and Nutrition

I'm thinking about doing the V-Diet in March (Need to save up funds for it) and it's looking like in order to meet my goals, I will be doing the second calculation for 30(+) lbs.

That's all good, but when looking at the recommended supplements (fish oil, flax, pb) I keep overshooting my total calories.

Obviously, one of the key components is getting 1 gram of protein per pound. Irregardless of where the protein comes from, I will be taking in 880 calories of protein. That only leaves me 370 calories for fat and fiber.

I can take in 30 grams of fat and 25 grams of carbs and not go over my calculations.

I guess my question is whether or not the '1 gram of protein per pound' is absolutely important, or if I could drop it down to say, .9 grams of protein (200 grams total) to place into my other macros.

December 15th, 2008 No Comments   Posted in Diet and Nutrition

I have been overweight for very long time, since i could remeber like from 16, i would go to gym and wanted to become a body builder so i could loose the weight, so i would train really hard and not really achieve any thing.
I havent been to a swimming pool for a long time because of my weight and my man boobs, its time to get rid of them.

I have been told that my man boobs can be a problem which i would need to loose the weight to see if they are. ( if they are i need to have an Cosmetic surgery). So this is what it motivates me

I am so happy that i have found this website, everything on here is very interesting. Very helpful. I have got all the supplements and now i am on the fifth fourth day and its my weigh in tommrow and my meal cant wait for it.
